Today, after a very long year of searching for a home to buy, we are now officially home owners!! We closed today @ 4:00.
Since this is an old farmhouse, there are lots of things to do to update it. Some of things we need to do or have already done are, paint every room in the house, rip out carpet, install a new tub surround, install a new sink and vanity in the upstairs bathroom, install a new pedestal sink in the main floor bath, install new light fixtures, CLEAN EVERYTHING, and then several little projects. I think we'll probably be busy for, oh say, the next YEAR!!!
But, the positive side of all this is, it is all ours and we thank the LORD for this wonderful gift He has given to us.
